MURDER BID ARREST AFTER CITY STABBING
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing incident.
Police were called to Lomas Street, in Shelton, following reports that a man had been stabbed at a property.
The injured person was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital by ambulance. His condition is described as ‘serious but stable’.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said they were called to the address at 10.25pm on Tuesday.
He added: “A 41-yearold man, from Newcastle, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody.”
