Farewell to a powerhouse

IT’S so sad to hear about the death of the Bafta-winning writer and directing powerhouse Kay Mellor, below, at 71. Her amazing series will never be forgotten especially Fat Friends and Band of Gold.

She gave women a voice in her shows with a lot of strength and determination. Rest in peace Kay – you and your writing gems will never be forgotten by the viewers.
