Valiants announce ticket details for their big day out at Wembley

PORT Vale have been allocated an initial 25,115 tickets for the League Two play-off final against Mansfield Town at Wembley next Saturday.

Tickets for the May 28 (4pm) game went on sale yesterday afternoon as the Vale moved quickly after Thursday night’s semi-final win at home to Swindon. The game will be the Vale’s first ever appearance at the new Wembley and their first at the national stadium since the Anglo-italian Cup final against Genoa in 1996.

Prices range from £60 adults in the category 1 seats to £26 adults in the category 6. There are also a number of concession­s, starting from £13 in the category 6 seats. Fans can buy up to nine tickets each and the price categories will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availabili­ty.

Vale are using Ticketmast­er and selling their allocation online at Ticketmast­er Sport. Tickets will not be available in person at Port Vale FC ticket office

Pricing categories at Wembley Stadium are split into three sections and there is also a concession rate for supporters aged 62 and over as well as for children aged 16 and under. There is also a Young Adult price category (for supporters aged 17-21).

Other informatio­n includes Vale’s recommenda­tion that fans who would like to sit in the designated singing area choose blocks 133/134 for the West Stand. The club are also advising fans about crowd flags and musical instrument­s, saying: “Any supporters wishing to take flags or musical instrument­s to Wembley Stadium must obtain permission. Please contact Enquiries@port-vale.co.uk to request permission.

“Anyone wishing to gain entry to Wembley Stadium carrying flags or musical instrument­s without prior permission will not be permitted to enter with them. Wembley Stadium have strict policies with regards to supporters bringing in musical instrument­s or flags. For more informatio­n contact Enquiries@ port-vale.co.uk at the club.”

There is also news about coach travel. Vale say: “Official coach travel is available from Port Vale FC ticket office. Coach travel tickets can be booked in-person and online. Please only make your coach travel arrangemen­ts after you have purchased your match ticket.

“Coach travel is subject to availabili­ty and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and booking a space on the coach does not guarantee you a match ticket nor does it include a ticket within the price. Coach travel is priced at £40 per person (no concession­s).”
