Firm hails landmark achievement of lawyer who joined straight from university
ONE of North Staffordshire’s bestknown private client lawyers is celebrating 40 years at his firm.
Charles Jones joined Knights as a trainee solicitor in Newcastle in 1982 after graduating from Keele University.
Since then, the business says, he has helped to build the largest, most reputable team of private client lawyers in Staffordshire.
Charles, who is now a partner, has provided people and businesses with legal advice for more than four decades, helping maximise their personal wealth and helping businesses to boost the local economy.
His time at the business has seen him work with families and businesses across North Staffordshire, and beyond.
Reflecting on his service, Charles said: “Wow, those 40 years went quickly. I am immensely proud to still be a part of Knights’ story – and time really does fly when you’re having fun.
“I feel lucky to have had amazing and talented colleagues around me, and to be with a business that has always supported me and my work.
“I have been privileged to provide advice to generations of wonderful and interesting clients over the years, many of whom are the heartbeat of Staffordshire and the surrounding areas.”
Charles’ contribution has been celebrated by colleagues at the firm’s office on The Brampton, Newcastle, where he is one of it best-known faces.
