MOT WORKSHOP WINS PLANNERS’ APPROVAL

-

PLANNERS have approved a workshop for MOTS and car repairs – nearly six months after it was built.

Stoke-on-trent City Council has approved the application for the former gas holder site in Dividy Road, Adderley Green.

The authority has accepted proposals for the building, on the site occupied by Top Gear Motors.

Plans submitted for approval said it wanted to provide workshop services on site rather than using independent garages, as this would ‘improve the efficiency of the client’s business’.

It would ‘provide before and after sales service’ and ‘ensure compliance and roadworthiness for all vehicles’ – as well as reducing trips by vehicles to the premises.

They added that construction of the workshop was completed in May.
