£139K FUNDS TO HELP PANDEMIC RECOVERY
DOZENS of groups working with vulnerable communities are set to benefit from a new fund.
Staffordshire County Council’s £139k Community Recovery Grants scheme is now open for applications.
The council is keen to support the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector by providing a range of one-off grants to help with Covid-19 recovery and the challenges of the rising cost of living. Grants of between £500 and £5,000 are available.
Victoria Wilson, cabinet member for communities and culture, said: “Our voluntary and community groups make a real difference to the lives of people in our local communities every day.
“We hope the funding will help them continue to do this.”
