‘Store’s revamp is no improvement’

I KNOW Sainsbury’s in Stoke has had a massive recent refurbishment, with Starbucks joining too.

But I’m not impressed as there appears to be less fresh produce and hot cooked counters. The pharmacy has gone and there are also less checkout counters and skeleton staff manning them.

If I wanted a job with Sainsbury’s I would get one, so I don’t want to do self service. With the Hanley store closed too, my only option is the mega one in Newcastle.

Things are supposed to improve not get worse. Or are we still blaming covid? DF MILNER BLURTON
