This art school, gallery and library complex was built in 1869 and constructed in brick and terracotta with an ornamented facade. The long-term aspiration for this derelict building is to bring it back into use. A first phase of repairs to re-roof the front range and carry out other assorted works was finished in autumn 2016. A new use for the building needs to be secured, and a strategy put in place to protect the building from further deterioration and undertake the next phase of repairs.
