THREE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER 3-WAY CRASH
THREE men needed treatment at the Royal Stoke University Hospital after a multi-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were sent to Hartwell Lane, in Barlaston.
Three ambulances and a paramedic officer attended before Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service arrived at 6.50am.
They discovered a blue Ford Fiesta, a Ford Transit van and a Citroen Berlingo van had collided.
A police spokesperson said the driver of the Ford Transit, a man in his 40s, suffered hand and leg injuries.
A man, in his 50s, and a passenger in the Citroen van suffered back and chest injuries. The driver of the Citroen van, a man in his 60s, suffered spinal injuries.
An ambulance service spokesperson confirmed the men were taken to hospital. He added: “The driver and passenger from the first van had potentially serious injuries.
“They received treatment from ambulance staff.”
It happened at about 6.45am on Friday. The road was closed just after 7.30am, reopening at about 10.30am.
