PREMIER Division leaders Brereton Social cruised to a 7-0 victory over City of Stoke.

Midfielder Jay Ford helped himself to a hat-trick and skipper Max Marshall added a brace, with the scoreline being added to by Kieron Cliff and Adam Mcfarlane.

Brereton Social now sit five points clear of second-placed Wolstanton, but have played three more games.

Alsager Town remain in third following an 11-0 demolition of newcomers Milton United at Wood Park.

Liam Shaw was the main man, bagging a double hat-trick with Nick Woods, Scott Winnington, Dan Biegus, Finn Pattison and Glyn Mellor adding the other goals.

Redgate Clayton sit in fourth spot after edging out fifth-placed Leek CSOB by the odd goal in five.

Joel Reece put Dan Dawson’s hosts ahead in the fifth minute, but Rob Pearson equalised six minutes later.

Redgate striker Dave Ashley then regained the lead, only to find themselves pegged back a minute later with a Dom Grindey strike.

The second half saw no further goal action until the 81st minute when Reece was on target to complete his brace and grab the winner.

AFC Alsager defeated Silverdale Athletic 4-1.

A Lewis Walley strike gave Mark Lawton’s hosts a narrow 1-0 lead, but two second-half goals from Harrison Bostock and another from Jordan Rigby pulled The Swans clear. Macauley Davies netted a consolatio­n.

A Tom Hall hat-trick for lowly hosts Abbey Hulton United shocked visitors Ball Haye Green.

The Moorlander­s were only able to reply with a solitary Jay Finney effort.

Matthew Breeze’s Walsall Phoenix comfortabl­y blew away hosts Eastwood Hanley by securing a 7-0 away-day victory.

Prolific striker Romano Graham helped himself to a hat-trick, while Daniel Macdonald-taylor, Charlie Smith, Ben Leavesley and Erique Manuel also found the back of the net.

Audley and Lichfield City played out a 2-2 draw.

Liam Morris and Ben Hewitt were on target for Wayne Minton’s hosts, while Joe Speck and Josh Gloverfaul­kner struck for James Lloyd’s City.

Elsewhere, Ashbourne secured an impressive 3-1 away win at FC 41.

In Division One, Kidsgrove Athletic won 7-0 at Hawkins Sports.

A Callum Middleton hat-trick helped Wayne Smith’s side take control with other strikes coming from the fleet-footed Kieran Lazenby, Danny Meek, Connor Jones and Chris Boast.

Madeley White Star kept their promotion challenge on track with a routine 2-0 home victory over Redgate Clayton Reserves.

Sam Bettley-smith open the scoring for Connor Clarke’s hosts with Jordan Hewitt adding a second shortly before the interval.

Florence sit in fifth place following their 2-1 victory over Audley Reserves.

Florence made a dream start as Hayden Wright scored after just four minutes. The rest of the first half saw the hosts misplace a lot of passes and generally make hard work for themselves.

Florence were punished in the 28th minute when a long ball upfield caught their rearguard out and Audley levelled the score from an excellent finish.

Florence were totally different in the second half, far more competitiv­e in the tackle and most of the game played in the Audley half of the pitch.

Eleven minutes after the restart Florence retook the lead. From a throw in on the left by Richard Owen, Josh Mackintosh let the ball go past him to allow Hayden Wright to score his second of the game.

The hosts probably should have increased their advantage but were kept at bay by a combinatio­n of good defending, the woodwork and some wayward shooting.

Darien Emery and Connor Smith scored in Stone Old Alleynians Reserves’ 2-1 victory over Keele University, while Eastwood Hanley Reserves edged out Cresswell Wanderers in a seven-goal thriller.

Cameron Dingle, Jack Maiden and Tom Wheeldon were on target for Tom Lloyd’s Cresswell, but a Joao Freitas brace was added to by James Aoannou and Lewis Mcmurdo to complete the 4-3 away win for Eastwood.

In Division Two North, Ashbourne Reserves thumped AFC Alsager Developmen­t 4-0 with Sam Twigg bagging himself a hat-trick with the other strike coming from Callum Richardson.

Ball Haye Green Reserves were defeated by Simon Dean’s Stone Old Alleynians A side 5-1 with Callum Foxley-dean, Kobie Lee Phillips-kelly and Will Myatt among the goals for Dean’s travellers. Brandon Ferns bagged the only goal for Green.

Milton United Reserves enjoyed a handsome 5-0 home victory Keele University Reserves. Shane Potts grabbed a second-half brace with Harley Shaw, Elias Rahal and Leighton Jones also on target.

Division Two South leaders Warstones suffered a setback when they suffered a 2-0 reverse at Stafford Town Reserves with Jonah Scutt bagging a brace for the county town men.

Matty Ainger’s second-placed Brereton Social Reserves were held to a 1-1 draw when they journeyed to AFC Real Medina, while thirdplace­d Wyrley took full advantage with a narrow 1-0 away victory at Albrighton. Chad Smith with the only goal of the game.

Luke Russell gave Mark Taylor’s Cannock United a 12th-minute lead away at Three Spires United, but a 22nd-minute reply levelled for Jon Bould’s men.

Bould himself was on target in the 72nd minute to seal the points for his side.

In the Chairman’s Cup, Florence Youth thrashed Leek CSOB Reserves 8-0

Kyle Johnson netted a hat-trick, with Brad Lewis and Kyle Bailey each grabbing a brace apiece with Saul Shotton also on target.
