‘FULL LIGHT SHOW’ AT TOWN’S CELEBRATIONS

A BUMPER crowd is expected as Leek gears up for the Christmas celebrations on Friday.

There will be many attractions across the town for visitors including a laser light display.

Councillor Matt Swindlehurst, chairman of Leek Town Council’s events committee, said: “There will be a full lighting show, ending with a fantastic laser display.

“There will be food stalls in Derby Street, and both indoor markets will be open.”

Leek’s Christmas lights night will start at 5pm.
