ROADS CLOSED FOR REPAIRS TO GO AHEAD
PARTS of a busy road have been closed off as part of a road repairs programme.
Highways teams have been working on a mile-long stretch through Bagnall and Stanley Moor, on the outskirts of Stockton Brook.
Work is set to finish tomorrow – although anticipated poor weather could cause hold-ups.
County councillor David Williams, cabinet member for highways and transport at the county council, said: “This treatment helps to extend the life of our roads and keep them in good condition.
“As always, highways crews will be maintaining emergency access and doing everything they can to minimise any inconvenience and we would like to thank people for their co-operation.”
