EIGHT WIN SHARE OF £75K CULTURE FUNDING

EIGHT recipients of Stoke-on-trent City Council’s Culture and Events Project grants have been announced.

The £75,000 support will enable organisations to create more cultural activities for residents and visitors.

B Arts, Frontline Dance, Claybody Theatre Company, Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, The Portland Inn Project, Urban Wilderness, The

Hub Fenton, and Bolton Gate Arts were all successful with bids. Grants were available for up to £10,000 per organisation.

Cllr Lorraine Beardmore, cabinet member for culture, leisure, and public health said: “This funding is part of half a million of support the city council is offering to help enhance cultural activities.”
