‘EXQUISITE’ JAZZ SINGER NETS GOLF CLUB GIG

SINGER Julie Edwards and saxophonist Kevin Dearden are the guests of Alsager Golf & Country Club Jazz Society tomorrow.

Edwards was nominated as Yorkshire Jazz Vocalist of the Year and has more than 25 years of experience as a professional musician.

A spokesman said: “With an extensive repertoire ranging from

French chanson to tradition Latinamerican jazz, Edwards’ exquisite voice, warm stage presence and ability to connect with audiences through her lyrical storytelling has seen her build up an exceptional reputation on the Leeds jazz scene.”

It starts at the golf club (ST7 2UR) at 8pm. All are welcome, admission costs £5.
