STALKER GETS 5-YEAR TOWN BAN
A MAN who ‘persistently’ approached lone women has been hit with a ban.
Mohaned Awadsaid approached various women in Crewe and despite being told to ‘go away’ he persisted.
And he even followed one victim to her home address – and turned up at her place of work.
Now Cheshire Police has secured a five-year Stalking Protection Order (SPO) which prevents the 36-yearold from approaching and speaking to any lone women anywhere in Crewe – and attempting to contact two victims.
The order – handed out by Crewe Magistrates’ Court – also prohibits him from entering a marked ‘exclusion zone’ in the town centre – except for the police station.
Sergeant Steve Tandy said: “Violence and intimidation against woman and girls remains a top priority.”
To report this kind of behaviour call police on 101.
