STRICTLY STARS TO SHINE AT ALTON TOWERS

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Kai Widdrington is to perform at Alton Towers as part of his nationwide tour in 2023.

It runs from March to May, with one date in July and will also feature costars Giovanni Pernice, Aljaz Skorjanec and Janette Manrara, among others. His Alton Towers dates are March 3 to 5. Kai, 27, lived in Trentham as a young boy while his footballler dad Tommy played for Port Vale. Kai turned down a Premier League contract at the age of 12 to pursue a dance career.

It proved to be a wise decision as he went on to become Junior World Latin American champion. And in 2021, Kai made it all the way to the Strictly final with TV presenter AJ Obudu before she suffered an injury.
