Train staff on strike
WORKERS based at a number of London Underground stations went on strike yesterday in a dispute over jobs.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) in the Special Requirements Team (SRT) – that assists passengers – were also in dispute over working conditions.
The union is currently re-balloting its members across Transport for London (TFL) over jobs, pensions and working conditions.
