Sir David At­ten­bor­ough is urg­ing com­pa­nies to do­nate to con­ser­va­tion projects when their ad­ver­tise­ments fea­ture an­i­mals. He is back­ing a new ini­tia­tive, The Lion’s Share, which will see part­ners con­trib­ute 0.5% of their spend for each ad that fea­tures an an­i­mal. “An­i­mals are in 20% of all ad­ver­tise­ments. Yet, they do not al­ways re­ceive the sup­port they de­serve. Un­til now,” he said.
