GO BIG WITH THE YARN FOR A QUICK KNIT

-

you will need: 60m ‘Nellie and Eve’ super chunky ‘Dreadlock’ yarn 25mm knitting needles 35x35cm feather or natural fibre cushion pad

1 Cast on 12 stitches loosely (see our basics box, if you don’t know how).

2 Using garter stitch, knit 46 rows. It’ll be approximately 90cm.

3 Cast off loosely, leaving 150cm of yarn for sewing up the sides of cushion cover. Weave in the ends.

4 Lay the knitted rectangle flat. Fold up 35cm and then fold over the remaining top piece to create an envelope. Using remaining yarn, sew up each side with a running stitch using hands. Fasten off and then weave in the ends.

5 Pop in the cushion pad and enjoy!
