Fiona Howard has been designing textiles and wallpapers for more than 30 years. She’s known for her classic designs, reminiscent of those of enduring English designers such as William Morris and the Bloomsbury Group. Based on sketches of the English coast and countryside, flora and woodland, her unique collection of wallpapers is designed to make us feel good about the spaces we live in.

ALL IN THE DETAIL

Fiona designs all her wallpaper patterns by hand, using a blockprint technique, first drawing the repeating patterns, then using the traditional method of lino cutting and hand printing to create intricate original designs. It’s a process involving expert craftsmanship and impressive attention to detail.

We’re happy to report that protecting the environment is an essential part of the process at Fiona Howard. All of her wallpapers are printed on FSCcertified papers in environmentally friendly inks. Plus, for each roll of wallpaper you buy, a tree is planted in collaboration with One Tree Planted.
