Paint it greener

EARTHBORN, THE ENVIRONMENTALLY- FRIENDLY PAINT COMPANY, NOW OFFERS A NEW COLLECTION OF COLOURS INSPIRED BY NATURE

-

There’s nothing better than a lick of paint to breathe new life into a room and Earthborn believes that this needn’t involve using harmful paints. The family-owned brand was set up with the aim of providing environmentallyfriendly alternatives to conventional paints, while providing a range of products designed to give beautiful finishes and a palette to complement any home.

All Earthborn paints are free from harmful emissions, nasty paint smells and are virtually VOC free, making them safe for children’s rooms. And the line-up has recently been extended with the addition of the Earth collection, five harmonious colours inspired by the natural world.

“Our starting point was simple,” says Cathryn Sanders, Earthborn’s Marketing Manager, “to create easy-going paint colours with their roots in nature. Each colour is themed around the earth, land, sand, sea and clouds. Longevity and timeless appeal are at the heart of the Earth collection.”

For go-to neutrals, there’s Up Up Away, a calming off-white, ideal for walls, ceilings, woodwork and plaster details, while the pale golden-white hue of Sandy Castle will add a luminous glow, helping to warm up the cool light of north-facing rooms, too. The cool beige tones of Crocky Road with faint green undertones provides an earthy quality to your space, or Grassy, inspired by hazy dew drops in dappled light, is a beautiful mid-toned green with blue undertones making it almost grey in some lights. For a hit of vibrant colour, Skipper is a versatile blue that’s been developed to suit more sociable areas of the home.

The Earth collection, a timeless palette of colours that are inspired by nature and developed to be kinder to it, too.
