Bacon, done three ways. THE PRACTICAL bacon candles. Save up grease: strain through muslin, then melt in a bain-marie. Stir in beeswax in the ratio 2:1 grease:wax. Attach wick to bottom of jar, keeping upright as you pour in the mix. Store in the fridge.
THE PLAYFUL Kummerspeck. Or ‘grief bacon’ in German, a handy phrase for that over-eating that often happens when you’re down.
THE SILLY The 'meatini'. Google it for inspiration: a cocktail glass of bacon, filled with a trad English brekkie.
