Beef burger patties
Quick to make and speedy to grill, making your own burgers is easy, fun and delicious.
Makes 6
1kg minced beef
2 small onions, peeled and grated
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 bunch of parsley, finely chopped
1-2 tsp tabasco sauce
2-4 tbsp olive oil
1 Place the mince, onion and garlic in a bowl, then add the parsley and tabasco sauce. Season with salt and pepper and then use your hands to gently mix everything together until fully combined.
2 Shape into six patties and chill for at least 30 mins.
3 Brush one side of each burger with olive oil and place on the grill, then brush the top with oil, too. Cook for 4-5 mins on each side for medium and 6 mins each side if you prefer them well done.
