Buttercups
What you’re after here is the tall and stately meadow buttercup, rather than the creeping variety that can run amok in garden borders and lawns. Yes, they are technically perennial weeds but who cares about that when they’re such joyous little spots of sunlight. Seek them out in the damper parts of parks and pastures and bring a few home for a jug of golden glow.
