because of radiation. Should I use a pillow?

There is no risk to you of using a laptop on your lap. The only reason that you might want to use a pillow is for comfort. MY wife had a tetanus jag a few years ago, yet still has a lump at the site of the jab. From what we are seeing online, this is normal, but only for a few weeks. No itching, no pain, just a lump. Is this something we should be worried about?

No this is not anything you need to be worried about. It will be a form of fibrotic reaction that your wife has raised through her immune system to the foreign material which was injected into her arm. These little fibrotic lumps are permanent but completely benign. WHEN having dinner recently, I noticed a small pain in my sternum with every swallow, which grew worse. The doctor gave me some antacids and said it would feel better immediately and go away within a few days, but it hasn’t.

It is important to tell your doctor the pain is persisting. Depending on your age, it may be necessary to do some further investigations which might include looking at a stool sample for a germ known as Helicobacter pylori, or sometimes having a look down into the gullet and stomach using an endoscope. I HAVE bumpy skin on the back of my arms and on my buttocks. The doctor says it’s keratosis pilaris. Is there anything I can do to help it?

Keratosis pilaris is a common condition, caused by hair follicles becoming blocked, which creates a slight expansion of the follicle and, from time to time, some redness. There are treatments but unfortunately none I’ve found work too well. Sometimes it’s better just to cover up and live with it.
