SuBo goes wild at the Palace
SINGER Susan Boyle joined thousands of revellers enjoying the Party At The Palace music festival.
The entertainer, 55, let her hair down with 9000 others to bands including Gun, The Fratellis and The Proclaimers.
Susan was at the event, held yesterday in Linlithgow, West Lothian, to celebrate finishing her latest album, which is due out in November.
She said: “I’m having a whale of a time.
“This isn’t the only festival I’m going along to. I’m also heading to the Fringe in Edinburgh.”
The crowd went wild last night for Sunshine On Leith twins Charlie and Craig Reid.
Glasgow rock band Gun also dazzled with a medley of their hits.
Drummer Paul McManis from the band said: “We’ve had a brilliant time from the minute we arrived on site.
“Everyone has been so helpful and kind and there’s a nice family-friendly vibe.”
The youngest performer at the festival was Saskia Eng, 15, who won Edinburgh’s Got Talent.
She said: “It’s been amazing to play here. I do a lot of busking, but it’s great to play a big stage.”
The festival continues today with Billy Ocean.
