Dambuster court date

A HEARING will take place tomorrow for a historian accused of stealing a logbook belonging to one of the members of the Dambusters.

Alex Bateman, 48, faces one count of theft following allegations he stole Flight Sergeant John Fraser’s logbook from his widow.

Bateman is said to have ignored pleas for its return after she posted it to him.
