Tortoise takes off

A TORTOISE in Oklahoma has made a bid for freedom!

Its owner has been reunited with her pet after the creature was found about a mile away from home after a day on the loose.

She said her pet, named Desta, is remarkably fast. This was the tortoise’s second escape from home.
