Rhyme time

REGARDING the wee poem from D. McMillan in last week’s Sunday Post, I remember hearing it years ago.

The next verse, I think, goes: He goes to church, He goes to church, He goes to church on a Sunday, And prays to God to give him strength, To belt the weans on Monday.
