FORMER Rangers defender Ross Perry is ready to return to action after recovering from the knee injury that required an operation, funded by his Brechin City team-mates.

The 26-year-old suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament last November.

The Glebe Park squad clubbed together and handed over win bonuses to help fund the £4000 surgery in early January.
