The much-loved novel features James Henry Trotter, a four-year-old boy who is forced to live with his two cruel aunts after his parents are killed.

When he is given some magic crocodile tongues by an old man, he accidentally spills one on to a barren peach tree, which produces a giant fruit.

James finds a tunnel inside, where seven bugs are living, and they go off on a magical adventure inside the giant peach, which takes them all the way to New York.
