They were erupting with happiness

-

TO have a ring at a wedding is hardly unusual.

But to go for a wedding ring of fire when you tie the knot is taking things to the extreme.

An adventurous couple decided getting their wedding pics snapped outside the church or in a pretty garden just wasn’t quite . . . out there enough.

So they did the completely obvious and sensible thing and hiked up to the top of an active volcano in Hawaii to get some photos next to the bubbling molten lava.

What could possibly go wrong?

Newlyweds Lauren and Alex hiked three miles to get to the lava, stand barefoot on sharp, uneven rock and pose alongside 2000-degree lava for the shots.

The results are certainly dramatic.

At least they could explain the bride’s red face by saying she was blushing.
