When it comes to cover versions, Will’s come a long way since his languid version of The Doors’ Light My Fire in 2002.

Recorded live with the jazz band he played with during a residency at the 606 club in London, he takes his time on the Buzzcocks’ Ever Fallen In Love, building it slowly, while The Beatles’ I’m Only Sleeping is shot through with jauntiness. As a whole it’s not all that summery but the EP is wonderfully luxuriant.
