and Highlands — Following a grey start, it is going to be largely dry and bright with sunny periods and some patchy cloud. However, there is the chance of the odd passing shower. Feeling very mild despite a strengthening southeasterly breeze. Max 16-19C.

Central and Clyde

Coast —An increasingly windy day. It is going to be generally dry but rather cloudy. However, there is the small chance of a few light showers. A dry evening but it will be mostly cloudy. Fresh south-easterly winds. Max 15-18C. Scottish mountain forecast for climbers — Some sunny spells but it will be generally cloudy and there is thechanceofafew light showers. Strong southerly winds.
