LOSSIEMOUTH 0 FORRES MECHANICS 4

FORRES opened halfway through the first half when a free-kick teased Darren McConnachie off his line and Graham Fraser headed into the net.

Twin brother Lee then added his first of the game just before half-time when he met a cross from Dachi Khutsishvilli (pictured) and guided it perfectly into the top corner.

After the break, the Mechanics added two further goals. Scott Graham hit home from the edge of the box on the 59th minute.

Graham then saw McConnachie save his penalty two minutes later, only for Lee Fraser to head home a corner moments later to complete the tally.

ROSE dominated the game and booked a home tie against Highland League champions Cove Rangers.

They got a great start with Dean Hoskins heading the opener in the 14th minute from an Adam Naison cross.

But United fought hard and it was the 56th minute before Rose doubled their score, Keiran McGachie cracking the ball home.

Then, 12 minutes later, the home side went three up when Stewart Jamieson beat two men and crossed to substitute Fraser McLaren, who slammed the ball home.

Andrew Smith pulled one back for United in the 76th minute but, straight from the kick-off, sub Jim McIntosh fired in No 4.

STROLLERS found themselves four down at the turn after Kris Mitchell hit the opener in the second minute.

Josh Morris got the second and third in the 19th and 27th minutes, and completed his hat-trick five minutes before the interval.

Strollers staged a fightback with Matt Cunningham hitting two goals in five minutes after the interval but Morris in 64 minutes and Mitchell nine minutes later completed the rout.
