We had a bit of a debate at our local about Linda Thorson, who played Tara King in The Avengers. Namely, where was she born? – T.

Toronto, Canada, was where Linda was born, in 1947.

Linda found fame when she replaced Diana Rigg in The Avengers in 1968.

Other notable TV appearances include Emmerdale, and she recently starred in Second Time Around on the big screen.

Linda now lives in New York.
