Matthew’s long shot

Every match is a real away game for 10-year-old Matthew Davidson.

The youngster lives on Barra but was spotted by scouts for Morton and plays for their under-11s.

It means a 320-mile round trip to Greenock – taking off from Barra’s famous beach runway – to attend training and games.

What a credit to Matthew’s dedication!
