Are cheap pregnancy tests just as effective as the more expensive ones?
Pregnancy tests detect human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) which is a hormone produced roughly six days after fertilisation and is detected in the urine. Some more expensive pregnancy tests may be more sensitive and detect levels of HCG at a slightly earlier stage. However, all pregnancy tests are very sensitive. When doing a pregnancy test, it is important to follow the instructions very carefully.

As a diabetic I’ve been told to take good care of my feet. I wondered if it was safe to wear high heels?
In principle it is safe for your to wear high heels, as long as they are comfortable. However, if you have areas of broken skin or ulcers, then it would not be advisable. If you have diabetes it is important to take good care of your feet and attend regular foot screenings.
