Appeal over attack

A man has been taken to hospital after being attacked in the street.

The 35-year-old was assaulted by another man on Morven Avenue, Paisley, around 9pm on Friday.

He had been involved in an argument when he was attacked, and taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital with a head injury.

Oficers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward and are reviewing CCTV footage.

Detective Sergeant Craig Riddell said the motive for the attack was still unclear.
