Keep up the good work

I’m pleased MP Paul Sweeney has called for an investigation of asylum seekers’ treatment in the UK.

These people are treated with such hostility. Surely they need more support? Whatever our creed and colour, we are all God’s people.

It is good that the Beano, which I first read back in 1968, has celebrated its 80th Birthday.

At the age of 56 I don’t read it now, but I do get the Beano annual as a present each Christmas.
