First-timers move to the fore

-

The proportion of first-time buyers snapping up homes has overtaken the number of existing homeowners moving house for the first time since 1995, analysis has found.

Across the UK there were 170,000 homemovers in the first half of the year, compared with 175,500 first-time buyers, according to the Lloyds Bank Homemover Review. It only looked at properties bought with a mortgage.
