Protest at Irish HQ
Protesters occupied the offices of a holiday letting firm claiming it was contributing to homelessness.
Around 40 activists from action group Take Back The City occupied the Airbnb offices in Dublin yesterday, complaining that the letting platform had “exacerbated the housing crisis”.
The company’s headquarters were open to the public for a door’s open day festival.
Campaigners said Airbnb had an impact on Ireland’s homelessness levels.
