Comic trip

The Sunday Post (Dundee) - - OPINION -

What memories last week’s Sunday Post brought home.

I still read Oor Wullie and The Broons first, at the young age of 81 years. Brought up in Montrose, Oor Wullie and The Broons annuals were always in our Christmas stockings.

Happy days.

I would never condone crime but as I read the meticulously planned stripping of the old Stobhill Hospital, closed in 2009, I wondered why on earth the authorities did not act years ago to sell off anything of value in the building to help boost NHS funds.

Not only has a major heist occurred but a big opportunity has been lost. Catch the gang, of course, but investigate why nothing was done about Stobhill within the NHS board room well before this crime.
