Queen’s PARK 2 PETERHEAD 0 A double from Ciaran Summers saw Queen’s Park defeat league leaders Peterhead 2-0 at Hampden.
Queen’s went close on 11 minutes when Scott Mclean forced Greg Fleming to stretch to turn his shot past.
The Spiders took the lead on 26 minutes after Mclean had been sent tumbling by Cameron Eadie at the edge of the box. After the Blue Toon man was booked Summers stepped up and curled the free-kick home.
Summers grabbed his second five minutes into the second half when he sent over a cross from the left that caught out Fleming as it drifted into the net.
Late on, home defender Dom Mclaren picked up two bookings and was sent off.
