“What’s the point of having a mate with a time machine, if you can’t nip back and see your gran when she was younger?” asks Yaz during this week’s adventure.

The Doctor and her companions travel back in time to India in 1947, where the country is being torn apart by political conflict. Yaz wants to meet her grandmother and learn more about her family’s secret history. But the Doctor is more concerned by tales of demons haunting the divided country.
