Minister: Scotland is open for business

European industry leaders will be told Scotland remains open for business despite Brexit uncertainty.

The message will be delivered to business and industry figures by trade minister Ivan Mckee on a visit to Germany.

Ahead of the visit, Mckee stressed the importance of the EU to Scottish trade saying: “Scotland remains open for business.

“The EU is the largest single market for Scotland’s international exports, worth £12.7 billion in 2016, supporting hundreds of thousands of jobs across Scotland.”
