I’m A Celeb star bullied

Actor John Barrowman’s sister has revealed he endured horrendous bullying as a child.

Carole, 59, said the taunts and abuse the I’m A Celebrity star experienced “left a scar on him” but also taught him to cut “toxic” people out of his life.

She said: “Bullying left a scar on John. He saw the nasty side of life.”

John, 51, is said to have been tormented because of his Scottish accent after his family moved from Glasgow to Aurora, Illinois, when he was aged just eight.
