Dutch rail­way to pay

The Dutch na­tional rail­ways com­pany will for the first time pay in­di­vid­ual com­pen­sa­tion to rel­a­tives of Jews de­ported to Ger­man death camps dur­ing The Sec­ond World War. The an­nounce­ment fol­lows a cam­paign by for­mer Ajax foot­ball club phys­io­ther­a­pist Salo Muller, whose par­ents were trans­ported from Am­s­ter­dam to their deaths in Auschwitz dur­ing the war.
