Andy Cook’s ninth goal of the season earned Walsall a replay at the Stadium of Light as they drew 1-1 with Sunderland.

A superb late comeback saw Bradford City earn a replay against fellow League One outfit Peterborough. Posh led 2-0 until the 84th minute – with goals from Ivan Toney and Siriki Dembele – when Kelvin Mellor found the top corner with an incredible strike from nearly 30 yards, before subs Luca Colville equalised in the 89th minute.

Goals from Matt Rhead, after just 29 seconds, and sub John Akinde saw Lincoln overcome Carlisle 2-0.

Mark Marshall’s own goal and John Marquis’ header sealed Doncaster a comfortable 2-0 win at Charlton, while Offrande Zanzal, Billy Kee (penalty) and Jordan Clark were on target as Accrington powered past Cheltenham Town 3-1.

AFC Wimbledon rode their luck before seeing off National League battlers Halifax 3-1, with Ben Purrington, Anthony Wordsworth and Joe Pigott on target. Oxford were 2-1 winners at Plymouth – Cameron Brannagan scored a superb 53rd-minute goal to seal it after James Henry’s opener.

Oldham progressed past Maidstone 2-0 at the Gallagher Stadium, with goals from veteran pair Peter Clarke and Chris O’grady.

Cauley Woodrow scored twice as Barnsley won 4-2 at Southend, with Kieffer Moore and Mike-steven Bahre also on target, with Sam Mantom and Timothee Dieng replying.
