This specially-commission­ed version of the much-loved traditiona­l tale by the Alhambra Theatre Trust features all the beautiful costumes, lavish set designs, fantastic choreograp­hy and live orchestra that people have come to expect of the Dunfermlin­e venue’s yearly panto.

The cast includes Billy Mack, Nikki Auld, Jo Freer, Alan Orr, Mark Hayden, Helena Mitchell and Craig Mcdougall, many of whom are familiar faces from previous pantos here.

The Old Man & The Gun

Based on a true story, star Robert Redford has stated this will likely be his last film.

He plays Forrest Tucker, who made an audacious escape from San Quentin at the age of 70 and carried out an unpreceden­ted string of heists that confounded authoritie­s and enchanted the public.

Wrapped up in the pursuit is detective John Hunt (Casey Affleck) and a woman (Sissy Spacek) who loves Tucker, in spite of his chosen profession.

Night Light

The annual festive show for young audiences in the city, designed to suit ages seven and under, as well as their families.

This year, the award-winning Night Light comes to Aberdeen.

A captivatin­g show that embraces audiences within a magical universe, it won the Best Production For Children And Young People at the Critics’ Awards For Theatre in Scotland.

It was created by leading theatre maker Andy Manley and Danish company Teater Refleksion.
